Day 1: Yichang

Day 2: Yichang - Day 2

In the morning, join the optional tour to the Three Gorges Tribe to immerse into the rustic and authentic life of the locals. In the afternoon, visit the Three Gorges Dam and the Three Gorges Engineering Museum, with the choice to join the optional tour to the Ship Elevator. In the evening, join the Captain’s Welcome Reception Party as the ship sets sail.

Tucked into a lush valley in Xiling Gorge, this scenic area shows the traditional way of life of the local Tujia and Ba people. Wander past stilt houses, waterfalls and streams, and watch folk singing and riverside customs that date back centuries.

Visit the world’s largest hydropower project, with viewpoints over the dam and its giant ship locks. At the Three Gorges Engineering Museum, learn how it was built and how it changed life on the river.

Ride the world’s largest ship elevator, which lifts entire vessels over the Three Gorges Dam in a giant water-filled chamber. It’s a fast, one-of-a-kind way to see this engineering marvel up close.
Day 3: Wushan - Fengjie

In the morning, board a small boat to explore the Goddess Stream, a serene tributary of the Yangtze. Sail through the spectacular Wu Gorge and the Qutang Gorge in the afternoon, then explore the White Emperor City, a historical site featuring ancient artifacts and the rich local tradition of poetry. In the evening, watch the Crew’s Cabaret Show presented by our crew team.

Switch to a smaller boat to explore Goddess Stream, a quiet Yangtze tributary near Wu Gorge. Narrow cliffs, green slopes and clear water make it a peaceful contrast to the main river.

Watch from the deck as your ship sails through the graceful Wu Gorge and the short, dramatic Qutang Gorge, where limestone peaks rise straight out of the water.
White Emperor CityINCLUDED
This hilltop temple complex overlooks Kuimen, the dramatic entrance to Qutang Gorge pictured on China’s 10-yuan note. It’s tied to Three Kingdoms history and to famous poems by Li Bai and Du Fu.
Day 4: Fengdu

In the morning, visit Fengdu Ghost City, a temple dedicated to afterlife, which incorporates beliefs of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. Enjoy onboard activities in the afternoon and live music shows in the evening.
